Statemen of faith

THE BIBLE: The bible is the word of God. All scripture is
inspired by God, it is not a person’s own interpretation. People
who wrote the bible were led by the Holy Spirit of God and
spoke things from God .The bible is useful or teaching and showing people the things that are wrong in their lives. It is
useful for correcting faults and teaching how to live right.
( 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
-
CREATION: God created the heavens and the earth,
including the first two people Adam and Eve in six days. God’s original creation was perfect with no sin, death or suffering.
(Genesis chapter 1 and 2).
-
THE FALL OF ADAM AND EVE: Instead of obeying God,
Adam and Eve obeyed Satan who temped them to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which God told them not
eat from. Adam and eve passed on sin to every person born
since, all people died spiritually.
(Genesis 3:1-2; 1 Corinthians 15:22).
-
SALVATION, GOD’s RESPONSE TO THE FALL OF MAN:
People are helpless within themselves to reverse this deadly
condition. God responded to man’s fall: Anyone can now be
forgiven and made right with God by his grace. God gave Jesus
to forgive people’s sin through their faith in him. The blood
sacrifice of Jesus pays for sin if anyone believes the good news about Jesus Christ, repents, and follow Jesus’s teachings and commandments.
(1 Corinthians 15:22; Romans 3:23-26; John 3:16; Romans 10:8-11).
-
RESURECTION: Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born by the virgin Mary, died and rose again, and is now sitting at
the right-hand side of God.
(Luke 18:33; Ephesians 1:20; Hebrews 8:1 ).
-
RAPTURE: The Lord Jesus Christ will return to earth for a second
time before the final judgement and before the Antichrist
persecute God’s chosen people and the whole world. The dead
who died believing in Christ will rise first, then all who will be
leaving and following the Lord Jesus Christ at that time will
rise to meet the Lord and will be with the Lord forever.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
-
THE FINAL JUDGEMENT: All people who did not believe and
Those who believed the message of salvation through Jesus
Christ will be resurrected. Those who believed and followed the
Lord Jesus Christ will rise to eternal life in heaven, and those
who did not accept the Lord Jesus Christ will rise to eternal
punishment in hell.
(Revelation 20:11-15).

-
MARIAGE: Is a biblical institution established by God as described
by Scripture. We believe the biblical ideal for marriage is the
uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment.
Accordingly, this Church’s pastors and staff will not officiate in
same-sex unions or same-sex marriages, nor will its property or
resources be used for such purposes.
(Matthew 19: 4 – 6)
-
HEAVEN: All people who believe the good news about Jesus
Christ, who repents, and follow the commandments and
teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ will be in heaven. We are
awaiting a Savior from Heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by
the power that Enables him to bring everything under his control
will transform our bodies so that they will be like his glorious
body.
(2 Corinthians 5:1; Philippians 3:20-21; 2 Peter 3:13)
-
BAPTISM: This Church shall receive for baptism any person who
Has received Jesus Christ as Savior by personal faith, who
professes Him publicly at any worship service, and who
indicates a commitment to follow Christ as Lord. Baptism shall
be by immersion in water. Baptism shall be administered as an
act of worship during any worship service of the Church. A
person who accepts the Lord Jesus Christ shall be baptized as
soon as possible.
(Mark 16:15 – 16)
-
THE LORD'S SUPPER: The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of
obedience whereby members of the Church and other
Christians, through partaking of bread and fruit of the vine,
commemorate the death of Jesus Christ who died for our sins. The Church shall observe the Lord's Supper at least once a
month. The Pastor and Deacons shall be responsible for the administration of the Lord's Supper.
(1 Corinthians 1:24 – 25)
-
WORSHIP SERVICES: The church shall meet regularly for
edification of the Church and worshiping the Almighty God.
Church meetings will be open for the entire congregation and
membership of the Church, and for all people, and shall be
conducted under the direction of the Pastor or as the Church
may direct.
( Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:42)
-
GIVING: Give what you have decided in your heart to give. You
should not give if it makes you unhappy or if you feel forced to
give. God loves those who are happy to give. And God can give
you more blessings than you need, and you will always have
plenty of everything. You will have enough to give to every good
work.
As the Scriptures say,
“He gives generously to the poor;
his goodness will continue forever.”
(2 Corinthians 9:7 – 9)
